It’s that time of the year which everyone loves well including me, Christmas for me is a time where I show love to those who ordinarily would not have gotten it all through the year, and the most fun part of this festive season is definitely the period where i get to be around the people who mean so much to me, I am referring to family and friends. Lets all not forget how this year has panned out with the global Coronavirus (Covid-19), a lot of people had their salaries slashed by half, some had to practically add an extra job to the one they are already doing and in worse situations, some did loose their jobs rendering them incapacitated. With all these things the euphoria which normally comes around this period which sets the mood for the yuletide season has been rather more on a quite, the frenzy is completely dead because people really don’t know how best they would be able to pull-off those barbecue parties, picnic, family weekend gate-away etc. People are rather planning on a very quite celebration with loved ones while some don’t even have anything up their sleeves.
But do you know that with all of the challenges highlighted below it is still very much possible to have a small party done for your family, even on a small budget, we would be giving you some very simple ideas on how to get the family together even with all that has gone on this year and very much celebrate life. Starting off we always encourage our lovely Ssuxess readers to always get a list of things down before taking an action, as this would help you know what and what you are doing and what exactly you are going for. So get a note-pad and a pen, jot down a few things, based on a very limited budget you have who and who do you think you can actually invite for a small family gathering, when you have gotten all the names of guest you think fit, its time to cut down the number of people from that list, remember we are working on a particular budget and that cannot feed the thousands of people you have probably fixed on your guest list, we would highly recommend that your guest list should be between the range of 10 – 20 preferably 12. With that being sorted out, you are going to have to work around your budget with your proposed 12 guest. Now what kind of party would you be going for depending on your taste and family preference, there are some homes who are very reserved so for that kind of home, a little buffet dinner with candles, and music to your taste would be recommended. For a family that is more hyper and outgoing they had prefer an outdoor outing maybe a family buffet at a nice restaurant or if you still want to have an indoor party then a Barbeque with drinks and music is your best bet. For this kind of parties organized under very limited budget we would suggest you use the Strictly By Invitation, make sure to alert your 5, 10, 12 or 20 guests that the invite gives access to only one person and if they are bringing someone its either they are footing the bill for that person in terms of feeding and give a very honest reason as to why it is so, if they are truly your friends they would understand and oblige.
There’s another party idea for a family of 5 (father, mother and children) or colleague friends who want to have an outdoor party with a limited budget, Picnics are a party choice because it gives you the opportunity to explore places, see nature at its best, and have fun with people in your circle and probably have others join you. For picnics, there are two options in organizing it, you can choose to be the sole provider of foods, drinks, water, music and other miscellaneous expenses that might pop up or you have a fair and honest conversation with your friends or colleagues and share responsibilities among yourselves, some Team A can be tasked to provide food, while Team B would decide to provide drinks, Team C can decide to provide water and music, while Team D can decide to provide a conducive means of transportation incase you are going outskirts of town maybe to another region etc. It shouldn’t be so difficult to have fun even with all the setbacks 2020 has brought our way, we need to find innovative ways to actually celebrate life in its entirety and keep the tradition of the festive season going on.
What other decent party ideas do you have up your sleeves this yuletide season, let us know maybe we can actually be doing a few of them or our wonderful Ssuxess readers can take a few tips.
