Ever since Kim Jones took over affairs at Dior there have been a tremendous change and improvement when it comes to the kind of attention given to their menswear and that has been evident when it comes to their Spring Resort collection. For this collection the team at Dior headed by Kim Jones decided to collaborate with Ghanaian artist Amoako Boafo who produces works that reflect on his upbringing and Black culture at large, while challenging masculine stereotypes.
Dior resort 2021 spring collection finishing was a complete different presentation of what we know the brand for as Kim decided to go back in time where fashion was more individualism than what is common today, a more 80s fashion vibe is what we are talking about. Playful look, sweaters, shirts, shorts, shoes and caps, it’s rendered in pale grey and Dior’s signature rich blue atop a white or grey base.
