The year hasn’t ended and we can practically feel the wrath this year bestowed on us. Everyone did have plans on 1st Jan just as we are about having one in the coming days and before we could jot down those goals and dreams, we were all hit by the global pandemic Coronavirus which have taken the lives of millions of people all over the world. In March of this year Ghana recorded its first cases of Covid-19 and ever since our lives haven’t remained the same ever since. Lots of people have been affected one way or the other and with measures that was set in place by the WORLD HEALTH ORGANISATION and the Government of Ghana, you and i would have thought that a few people who are in the public eye would adhere to the covid-19 protocol and make sure they are passing the right information, well unfortunately for ace broadcaster Sammy Forson who moved from EIB networks about a year ago and have now pinched his tent with one of Ghana’s biggest media houses Multimedia has come out to tell his listeners and fans via his social media handle on how he regrettably took for granted the Coronavirus and the bad effects it could do to you.
In the early stages of the virus the African continent was awash with a weird notion that covid-19 couldn’t last on the continent as we had a more rather hot temperature which in fact would allow the virus to last longer but we have all been proved wrong as we have seen our brothers and sisters all across the continent being infected or have died due to the Coronavirus pandemic and this was the bad fate of radio presenter whom people have been worried about as to his absence on radio, Sammy Forson hosts the weekend show every Saturday from 10am – 12noon and on Sunday from 3pm – 5pm.
Sammy Forson, has disclosed that he’s been battling with Coronavirus since November. According to him, he took things for granted and now dealing with the repercussions.
“I kinda took things for granted and since 30th November, covid 19 has been dealing with me. Never have I experienced being ill like this. Being able to freely breathe is a miracle we take for granted. I am certainly thankful to be alive🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿 Covid is real🙏🏿🙏🏿WEAR A MASK ALWAYS,”
he tweeted.
Sammy Forson is now urging all Ghanaians to take Covid seriously and take all the necessary precautions. And we are also encouraging you our lovely SSUXESS readers to also adhere to the safety precautionary measures that have been put in place to help us curb the spread of the virus and for us to hope that as reports are ripe that there’s a new vaccine, it would get to us in time for lives to be saved but until then be safe, and stay safe.
