Nigerian-born New Zealand professional mixed martial artist Israel Mobolaji Temitayo Odunayo Oluwafemi Owolabi Adesanya known professionally as Israel Adesanya AKA “The StyleBender”. Was recently announced as a commentator for the big fight between legend Mike Tyson and Roy Jones.
In the recently concluded Mike Tyson – Roy Jones Jr. pay-per-view, Israel Adesanya served as a guest commentator. The commentary table consisted of legends such as ‘Sugar’ Ray Leonard and broadcasting genius Mauro Ranallo. It didn’t lack entertainment either as Grammy-winning rap legend Snoop Dogg was present as well. However, Israel Adesanya held his own in his first appearance on a major event as a commentator.
Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr fought out an entertaining eight-round exhibition fight at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Saturday night. The controversial showdown between two legendary former world champions now in their 50s had been met with understandable criticism.
So for the big night the UFC middleweight champion teamed up with one of Hollywood’s biggest black stylist of Nigerian origin Ugo Mozie as they both worked on getting Israel to look dapper for the big night and boy did Ugo achieve this as the Martial Art champion was seen wearing a black Dolce & Gabbana three piece suit and a classic oldie Bow-tie. Israel finished his looks with a black tainted boot.
