One of our style stars from the Southern part of Africa is TV personality Maps Maponyane. Who is an actor, fashion designer, speaker and creative consultant. The media personality has had a pretty much good year although news of his break-up with Coming To America 2 star Nomzamo Mbatha. Although there were no images of the two lovebirds news of them reportedly dating swept the media landscape until things tour soured when they broke up. Flexing on the ‘gram the Tell Me Sweet Something actor, wore one of our favourite pieces from Beyonce’s Ivy Park Drip 2: Black Pack capsule. We immediately zeroed in on the relaxed yet uber-cool feel of this look. Our favourite parts of this look? His hats. Maps has always had a stellar hat game and we love the elevated feel this new looks carry.
For Maps Second look choice he went in for one of our favourite SA designers Rich Mnisi who are among the few South Africans who have gotten the IVY PARK collection, but Maps chose to appreciate the beautiful designs of Rich Mnisi where he was seen wearing this brown funky top and knee trousers which for us went well, this Maps Maponyane looks just gives us hope that men aren’t about to box up again as our styles are beginning to challenge the status quo.
