Its 2020 and you still think that men have a lot of working to do when it comes to fashion, can we tell you to either wake up or you really have a lot of catching up to do. Gone are the days where our men felt that paying attention to ones skin care routine or even fashions style isn’t for men and can tag you as being Gay, very myopic to actually conclude, now a lot men are becoming Metrosexual in nature as they are now beginning to understand where we are coming from all this years that your style indeed your style speaks about you in 1000 ways you had no idea it could even before you saying a word.
We have carefully glanced through to bring to you these few African brothers of ours in the diaspora who are giving us fashion on a 100% level, their styles comes off as audacious, very individual to these young men, confident to play with colors and have a lot of variety. From Yele King who is based in the UK, has a style which is very quintessential and goes with the predicted traditional formal men’s go to style ‘Formal’ which sees King have his style mostly with a double-breasted suits which aren’t boring this is because he plays with colors, he also plays it safe with a mix and match single button suit jacket and different pant color. One style statement that is famous with King is the Turtleneck and use of sneakers, we have been screaming all months that the new normal of suit style is pairing your well tailored suit with a white sneakers, its time to let those brogues and loafers have some rest.
YELE KING
Our next African style king who is also based in the UK is Mr. Asante of Ghanaian descent, Asante’s style comes as conservative and can sit with your next door neighbors look, nothing extra or out of the ordinary looking at his gallery one can see that style doesn’t really have to come as some expensive venture to get into, from suits, to casual looks Mr. Asante sure delivers what every working class gentleman can find a thing or two to up their office wear game style.
MR. ASANTE
Pappy as i fondly call him, Efe Efeturi who is a Nigerian Filmmaker and style blogger / influencer based in the UK, has been giving us style as long as we can all remember, very fresh, minimalistic and most times A little bit extra to inform all men that sometimes its also OK to pamper yourself when it comes to your style. One thing is for sure, Efe is Style and Style is Efe. He has been touted as the king of Black style kings in the UK giving men the voice to men to express themselves in ways that are unique to them. The many times you would see Efe going around in casuals which are mostly in polo shirts, chinos pants or brown pants, wool sweaters, sneakers, petty coats, turtlenecks, jeans, paper boy cap etc to more formal wear suits, but one thing about Efe’s suit game is the constant importance of having to wear only well-tailored suits and also give us color varieties.

Nigerian Style expert and designer of Albert-Clothing, Gabriel Akinosho is one daring young champ of African descent who is definitely kicking the stereotype of how men should look as his style has a fusion of 60s, 70s and 80s men inspired pants cuts and aesthetics. His style are very daring as we said but they come out clean, big and gives you the confidence to look the best way you want to look. Dressing according to his body type every pants comes with a certain kind of pattern which is known to the Albert Clothing style, his sometimes pushes the envelope when he gives styles in shorts and tops which are very eccentric and have that Putti Uomo kind of feel.
GABRIEL AKINOSHO
Another black brother of ours killing it in Great Britain, is Caligraphist known as Cali. His style resonates with the much younger millennials who have found a way to express themselves in ways that speaks to their dispensation. Cali’s style just like Efe is very colorful, outlandish and fits to the last T, he concentrates on cuts, pattern, combo, 80% casual and 20% formal representation is what characterizes Calli.
